Fifteen years ago I started photographing backyard weddings and have since taught and attended workshops alongside the industry’s leaders. I have won awards and traveled to far-off private islands and other destination locations. I have photographed a billionaire and also a friend’s city hall wedding. It’s a very large industry and makes for a rewarding career. I do not take it for granted.

Besides industry experience and a group of peers who continue to collaborate with and learn from, what I bring to these events is my training as a documentary photographer. What this means to the people I photograph is that I treat every wedding as a story to be unfolded—a narrative with unexpected and unique moments as well as the staged shots. My events start at $6200.00 for files and 8 hours.
